OUR ROLE IN YOUR CANOE ADVENTURE

canoe-transport-muncho-lake.jpg

Northern Rockies Adventures takes care of your transportation needs via floatplane from Muncho lake or private charter flight from Vancouver. We can provide transport from downtown to creekside, allowing you to focus on the paddle of a lifetime!

Our pilot, Urs, has been flying this region since 1981 and operates a DHC3 Turbine Single Otter that is Transport Canada certified to carry canoes as external loads into back country lakes. All canoe trips depart from our floatplane dock at Northern Rockies Lodge located in Muncho Lake, British Columbia at Mile 462 of the paved Alaska Highway between Fort Nelson, BC and Whitehorse, Yukon.

All canoe multi-day canoe trips are unguided, rentals are also available. For guided canoeing our local introductory daytrips are accessible to all ages.
