Lake Trout Spin Casting

There’s monsters out in the lakes and Northern Rockies Adventures gets you there by air! Spincast the most productive guided fishing lakes, for an abundance of Lake trout fishing just after ice out and through early July for are the best times. Urs, our chief fishing guide and pilot knows all the good spots.

Lake trout are abundant in most of the 70 remote fly-in fishing lakes. With such variety of backcountry lakes to choose from, our guided fly in fishing trips are perfect for targeting trophy lake trout. A five of diamonds, red and white daredevil, or various other baits and lures will work best on Lake Trout. Trolling or jigging for Lake trout is most effective and we know where to find them!

Lake trout are also Abundant at all our Outpost Cabins, these fish are bound to lead to action, adrenaline and laughs!

Walleye Spin Casting

Walleye fishing in BC?! You bet! Catch trophy Walleye, excellent for spincasting fishing trips! We have access to the most. productive walleye fishing of the north! Our fishing guides will show you the schools of Walleye, drop a lure and jig fish to land some trophy Walleye! For sure lunch, battered and fried Walleye are an excellent treat, a delicious lunch on a days fly in fishing trip!

Northern Pike Spin Casting

Freshwater monster Pike are aplenty and we catch them in the 40+ lbs range! Our fly in fishing guides will show you the best spots to catch lurking Northern Pike while spincast fishing, hungry and ready to put up a ferocious fight! Weedless five of diamonds or red and white daredevil recommended as the Pike love to hide in the weed beds. In the cold Northern waters, the pike caught on our Canadian fly in fishing trips also make excellent eating with a fresh flaky flesh akiin to halibut.

Arctic Grayling are incredibly plentiful in our region and caught on almost all our guided flyin fishing trips. Find Grayling in big schools in our pristine Freshwaters, expect lots of bites and action from the Grayling - they’re endless fishing fun! These little fighters, punch well above their weight class and put on an excellent fight. Our fishing guides will show you the best stream and lake fishing spots for trophy size arctic grayling up to 4½ pounds (the world record Arctic Grayling was just under 6lbs)! Grayling are also the perfect pan frying fish, delicate flaky flesh like a turbot.
