Lodge Rooms:

In summer and fall guests can choose to stay in the central lodge rooms or private cabins. Winter tours are accommodations exclusively in lodge rooms.

Our well appointed lodge rooms overlook the lake and mountains. The log cabin atmosphere leads to cozy nights, and the balcony and floor to ceiling windows offer panoramic views.

Comfortable beds with duvets, All rooms feature a 32" LCD with satellite TV, WIFI internet, modern full en-suite washroom with a bathtub & shower, and a hairdryer.

All our package tours and fishing trips include à la carte dining in our private bushpilots lounge, a deluxe experience of chef catered meals to end the day on a culinary high note.

Serving a variety of North American and European inspired dishes, our chefs invite you to our stunning dining room with its welcoming and relaxing atmosphere to savour a home cooked meal. Taking in views of the property and Muncho Lake, one can easily lose track of time sipping fresh draft beer or a fine bottle of wine. We offer a variety of daily, fresh specials created by our culinary team at the Northern Rockies Lodge in addition to our classical European menu.

Situated in Muncho lake Provincial park the lodges resort is graced by the beautiful abundance of nature. Loons cruise the lake while squirrels, chipmunks and a myriad of small birds are often seen on the property. Guests can relax and stroll the resorts shoreline path for fantastic views of the rockies, the impressive snow-capped mount Peterson reflects fantastically in in the jade green waters of Muncho lake. Adding to the view during the fall and winter months, Aurora often grace the lakeside, dancing across the northern sky.  Along the lakeshore guests will find the premium lakeshore chalets, gazebo’s, outdoor seating, campfire rings, boat docks, floatplanes and open air hot-tub.  

Lodge Amenities
The lodges two story vaulted dining room is a treasure trove of art. Pauli Schloegl contributed many impressive carvings and accents to the lodge, at the center of it all is his massive wooden map of the region.  At the lodge’s private lounge a library of curated outdoor books, fossils and artifacts offer a wealth of local knowledge to guests, while boardgames and the cocktail bar are perfect for socializing with friends.  Necessities for travellers are also easily covered by the lodges laundry facilities (guest laundry is included in package trips), giftshop and information kiosk. Courteous reception staff are also always happy to assist guests at the Front desk.
